Meet Shelly Sazama


Shelly Sazama is an everyday maker, learner, and encourager. She loves creativity and constantly challenges herself to better her artistic practice. She loves hand stitching, making art journals, mixed media, watercolors, collage, leather works, metal works, indigo dying, gardening, cooking, photography and whatever is next.  


Shelly lives in West Seattle, WA with her family and prefers her life to be sprinkled with art, sunshine, beaches, love, a big dog and laughter. 


She shares her love of creativity in art classes to youth and adults.

What you can expect from class:


This is a get your hands messy and heart happy kinda class! You will be diving in and really exploring and playing by creating a set of sisters artists books using inks, paints, slow stitching, weaving, mark making, dyed fabrics and papers, creating artsy clusters and danglies — all wrapped up in a one of a kind journal wrap. This set of sisters artists books will be a pleasure to make and also to flip through.
